the Field
Each quarter the class focused on different aspects of the Olympic Peninsula.
Fall quarter they studied Salmon, winter quarter, trees, and spring quarter,
energy. Fall and winter quarter the students were able to do much of their
research at local sites around Olympia due to the rich diversity of the
south sound. Spring quarter was a bit different since there are no power
plants in Olympia.
