Local Knowledge students spent spring quarter creating projects in partnership with the community. From poverty to hunger, civil liberties and alternative health care, these students are working hard to make a difference. Below is a partial sampling of their work:

Street Action with Youth thru Media (working with street youth to create a documentary video)

PhotoVoice Centralia (photography workshops and exhibit with Spanish-speaking migrant youth)

Gleaner's Cafe (establishing a low-income cafe in downtown Olympia)

Alternative Health Care (researching methods of promoting alternative health care and making it more accessible to low-income individuals)
