Students learn about the salmon's current habitat conditions by testing the water quality from various rivers around Olympia. The results can be somewhat frightening and everyone became more educated and aware of the toxins we all contribute to putting into our water. It's amazing how clean and pure a river can seem until you stick a probe into it.
